In her Will, Eve Crowe left £5,000 to the Society, without specifying how it should be used. Her brother expressed a preference for a bursary to a student, as Eve was always keen to see young people getting on. We approached the Dean of the School of Law at the University of Dundee, where Eve studied, and have arranged for bursaries of £500 each to two students a year in the Diploma Course, until the legacy is exhausted in five years' time. The two students will attend one of the Members’ Meetings during the year when they receive the bursary, to see the Library and to learn about the Society.
