At the Members’ Meeting on 26 June 2012, Lynn Harrison was elected as President of the Society for the next three years, and Robert Shiels was elected as Vice-President for the year 2012-13. Eric Turnbull, a previous President, who had continued to serve as an Ordinary Member of Council, did not seek re-election and Pamela Loudon, the second woman to join the Society, which she did in 1983, was appointed to the vacancy.
